2. Non-returnable hygiene products
Our silk sleep bonnets are personal-use hygiene products that come into direct contact with hair and the scalp.
According to Lithuanian law and European Union consumer protection regulations, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw within 14 days if:
sealed goods have been delivered which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.
This exception is provided in:
Article 6.228¹⁰(2)(5) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania
(implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights).
For this reason:
✅ silk sleep bonnets cannot be exchanged
✅ silk sleep bonnets cannot be returned
if the packaging has been opened after delivery.
This rule applies similarly to hygiene products such as underwear, cosmetics, hair accessories, and similar personal-use items.
3. Damaged or incorrect items
If you received:
- a defective item
- an item damaged during shipping
- an incorrect item
please contact us within 48 hours after delivery at info@sleeponsilk.info and include:
- your order number
- photos of the item
- photos of the packaging
In such cases we review the situation individually and, if the defect is confirmed, we will offer either:
- a replacement item at no extra cost, or
- a full refund.
4. Refusal of return
The seller reserves the right to refuse a return if:
- the item has been used
- the item has been removed from its hygienic packaging
- the original seal has been broken
except in cases where a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
